Preem AB is the biggest oil company in Sweden, with refining capacity of more then 18 million tons of crude oil every year. Our two refineries are among the most modern, environmentally-friendly in Europe and the world.

From crude oil and refinery to exchange and gas station

Preem’s activities include production, sales, distribution, trading and feedstock supplies. We process and sell gasoline, diesel and heating oils to oil companies, companies and private individuals in Sweden. About half of our production is exported. We also manufacture lubricants at our Scanlube factory in Göteborg.

A strong company

Preem is the market leader in Sweden in the fields of heating oil and diesel, and has a strong position in sales of gasoline. In 2008 our revenue was SEK 95.8 billion.

Our two refineries are in Göteborg and Lysekil, and the lubricant factory is in Göteborg. We have six operational depots and run about 470 gas stations for private individuals and 215 gas stations for heavy goods vehicles. The head office is in Stockholm.
