Preem is responsible for 80 percent of Swedish refinery capacity and 30 percent of Nordic capacity. The total refinery capacity is more than 18 million cubic meters of crude oil at our two wholly-owned refineries Preemraff Göteborg and Preemraff Lysekil, making Preem the biggest refiner in the Nordic region. Both refineries are among the most modern, environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient in Europe.

From crude oil to customer

Preem conducts extensive refining of crude oil and sales of petroleum products to oil companies active in Sweden and in the international market, primarily in northwestern Europe. More than half of production is exported, which makes Preem one of the biggest Swedish exporters.

Sales of gasoline, diesel, heating oils and lubricating oils in the Swedish market to private customers, large and small companies are conducted via our own marketing channels, wholly-owned subsidiaries and gas stations. Preem has a national business operation and
