Charge Your EV
We want to make it easier to charge your car along the roads. Therefore, we are currently investing in installing hundreds of fast chargers across the country. Our ambition is to annually equip a large number of stations with fast chargers using renewable electricity and become the obvious choice for you who drive an electric car.
To meet the need for fast and reliable charging options, we continue to expand our network with hundreds of modern charging points across the country.
You can pay with Preem's payment cards, Preem's app for private customers, most bank cards, and other operators' apps or charging cards. The rollout of the new charging stations is being carried out both independently and in collaboration with the charging operator Recharge. Charging stations for both light and heavy vehicles are being established at Preem's stations.
Charging Time
The time it takes to charge your electric car varies. Several factors come into play, such as the power of the charging station and the type of electric car you have. Simply put, we can divide the time and power as follows:
Charging your car at home with a power of 11 kW usually takes about 6–10 hours.
A charger with a power of 50 kW usually takes about 1 hour.
A charger with a power of 150 kW usually takes 15–30 minutes.
A charger with a power of about 300–350 kW can take about 15 minutes or less.
